Hi Designers,
Just a friendly reminder that our Unit 1 PhD will be coming up this Wednesday/Thursday. It will cover the following five ESKs:
I will be holding office hours Monday after school, Wednesday before school, and Thursday before school.
As discussed in class, both your Catalysts sheet as well as your Daily Practice packet will be collected before your PhD. In addition, the review packet answer key is attached to this post.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
Peace,
Mr. Itow
Just a friendly reminder that our Unit 1 PhD will be coming up this Wednesday/Thursday. It will cover the following five ESKs:
- 1.a I can describe the random motions of molecules and their collisions with a surface create the observable pressure on that surface and that the random motion of molecules explains the diffusion of gasses.
- 1.b I can apply the gas laws to relations between the pressure, temperature, and volume of any amount of an ideal gas or any mixture of ideal gases.
- 1.c I can apply the values and meanings of standard temperature and pressure.
- 1.d I can convert between the Celsius and Kelvin temperature scales and that there is no temperature lower than 0 Kelvin.
- 1.e I can solve problems by using the ideal gas law in the form PV=nRT.
I will be holding office hours Monday after school, Wednesday before school, and Thursday before school.
